Patty spent five years working for the BlinkNow Foundation in Nepal, an organization changing the world by empowering Nepal’s youth. During that time, she grew the organization’s social media following by 2600% and tripled the size of the supporter database. She also led a marketing campaign to successfully convince the world to vote for the organization’s founder as the 2015 CNN Hero of the Year award.
A self-proclaimed data geek, Patty is forever crunching numbers and studying spreadsheets. She loves putting systems into place to help teams work more efficiently.
A graduate of Yale University, Patty lives in Boulder, Colorado.
Julia is a graduate of the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. She spent two years working in Nepal for the BlinkNow Foundation as Communications Director, where she created content, managed the organization's social media presence, and dove into analytics to strategically grow and engage its community of supporters around the world.
She also spent two years working for the Voyageur Outward Bound School in Minnesota, instructing month-long canoeing and backpacking expeditions for at-risk youth. When she's not in the office, Julia can be found outside: hiking, biking, paddling, or skiing, depending on the season. She currently lives in Burlington, Vermont.
Michelle most recently served as head of Marketing & Communications at Music Will, a leading music education nonprofit, overseeing strategy and execution of the organization's public branding. Prior, she was a Marketing Manager at UPS growing the global company's New York metropolitan area client base. Michelle has a passion for sharing amazing stories and helping brands reach their full potential.
Having received her undergraduate business degree from The College of New Jersey and her Master of Business Administration from New York University, Michelle has lived most of her life on the east coast. In recent years, she's been in Austin, TX where she's spending time exploring new places with her dog, Whiskey.
Ryane spent seven years as the Assistant Director of The World is Just a Book Away, an international children's literacy nonprofit dedicated to empowering young minds through access to books and educational programs. During her time there, she helped drive record growth, reaching over 340,000 children, launching two mobile libraries, constructing 20 libraries, establishing two online education programs serving more than 250,000 children, and expanding an environmental education program—in partnership with Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots—that reached an additional 30,000 children.
A practicing artist and graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Ryane’s work has been exhibited in galleries, universities, and is part of both private and corporate collections.
She currently lives in Los Angeles, where she continues to create art and pursue her passion for supporting nonprofit organizations.
